    got these plants at polart today...
    wonder what plant are these...

    I hope that this is true water plants and not the flower stock..


    can see that there are some roots growing out though..

    There was a thread regarding these plants... let me see if i can find it.
    I think they grow quite large and may be sub-aquatic plants so maybe not suitable for this tank.

    I believe that the other plant you were wondering about is either "Sagittaria Subulata" or "Cryptocoryne Parva".

    These are sub aquatic plant. The part which look like a "gu jing" is actually the flower. It from the "papyrus" species. They can grow pretty huge and only start to flower when the stem grows out of water.

    looks like the mini version of papyrus. the stem will grow taller and taller. why not subsitute with hairgrass for your iwagumi?
