did you say that the ps3 is connected to a router? previously I was using the linksys WRT54G and the router kept restarting over and over again. I finally retry with my old router and it worked fine.

I believe they are now selling the PSP Slim. A thinner and lighter version so your kids don't develop abnomally big biceps. Expect around $400-$500. That's complete with all the bells and whistles.

the last time i checked, which is 1 week ago,there's this shop selling PS3 40gb for $550 ($9 cheaper than market price) and also another shop selling the 80gb for $688 with only 1 controller. Both these shops are at tampines blk 505. Maybe want to check it out...

Assuming we ignore the capability of BluRay, why PS3 over a Xbox 360?

Vincent, the fact that the PS3 come with the bluray player rather than buying a HD-DVD drive for the xbox360 is already a big advantage. Price wise with the 40gb PS3, making it more affordable than the xbox360. In terms of capabilities, both is equally the same. Things like annual subscription to download demo, play online as compared to PS3 free access. In terms of selection of games, xbox360 has a wider range no doubt. 2008 will see the release of popular games like Final fantasy, Devil may cry and solid gear will make PS3 more appealing.

currently 40gb, 80gb. Difference is 40gb do not come with a memory card reader, 2 USB port compare to 4, different processor and consume less electricity for the 40gb.

hugh space? 80gb ain't big, the media centre ability on the PS3 allows users to store music, video and photo. But the good news is PS3 HDD is easier to replace and there are instruction where and how to replace

Wii graphics is really pale in comparison to PS3 but it is all round family fun...cos the games are rather family friendly and not to mention easy to play..
