I believe they are now selling the PSP Slim. A thinner and lighter version so your kids don't develop abnomally big biceps. Expect around $400-$500. That's complete with all the bells and whistles.
Is it still so expensive??? think with all the sets out now... price should have dropped right??
Trident.. buy new...if you're getting the ps2...
i have 3 sets at home...my first set cannot scan certain games because of the new format... my 2nd set (which is a 2nd hand) died after a short while only...and so i bought a 3rd set (the slim) and that is running fine...
Justine,
Even with the new PS3 out the PS2 is still so high!
Think I'll just check out the prices in Sim Lim Square
and see how it goes.
Thanks

Yes, I think it still cost that much. Although the guys at Sim Lim bundles in alot more accesories, bigger memory cards etc.My wife bought one for almost $500 a couple of months ago which I have now comandeered to kill terroristsThe PSP is still a pretty hot item even now so I guess the price still remains.
So Trident, although the PSP is handy, I don't think you want your kids glued to it at dinner time, or walking into a wall. At least you can still pull the plug on a PS2.
i think there may be some miscommunication here. Richard and Justin are talking about the PS2 while bryan is talking about the PSP? I know the PSP currently is retailing at the price quoted by bryan, but i don't think the PS2 is that price anymore. Last i saw the PS2 should be $200+? can't remember if it was first or second hand though
bryan, illumnae,
Thanks for your input. Guess I'll have to make a trip to sim lim.
Don't think I want to buy the PSP, my kids will hide in the toilet
and kill terrorist instead of studying.

don't get wii, get ps3, can watch bluray. Ps3 is the cheapest bluray player in the market
Sorry to hijack the thread. Just wondering if anyone encounter this problem with PS3.
Everytime when i'm surfing AQ just when i click the refresh button & turning the PS3 on at the same time, the internet disconnects showing error connecting. Refresh the page again & it works.
Lets say i'm playing LAN, halfway through PS3 turn on, it lags the PC game for about 3-4 secs too.
I'm wondering if anybody can shed some light on this issue.
Cheers!

Bandwidth issue?
Maybe the PS3 is dumping alot of data, as a result took up a huge chunk of the bandwidth?
Heard from Simon mentioning PS3 will disconnect itself once it's turn on. The problem is once PS3 starts up it disconnect the modem i think. Thats what i'm not sure about . Anybody here got a PS3 to try out & share the result?
Turning on the PS3 & refreshing the page at the same time. see what happens.
Cheers!
