a small question regarding my dymax lighting

hi guys, i bought the lightning about 1 month plus ago and have posted a pic on my tank thread. then a bro told me that the screw should be on the outside. then i saw brianclaw thread sellnig the light too. same thing the screw is on the outside, however for mine, the screw is on the inside? is there something wrong with my lightset? or can the thing be removed and turn the direction because(for those who saw this lighting before), the light can be 'flip' up and one of the 'holder' there got a hole too?argh i feel cheated..

sorry but i sent my cam for repair, so this is the only pic. will try to get a better pic as soon as possible, but hope you guys can get what im describing. the thing is with the current set up, the 2 'sliding bar' to slot into the space on the light will be facing the correct direction. if i switch it opposite way, the 2 bar will be facing outwards and i cant fit the light. also, the dymax logo will be facing inwards which is wrong i believe.

is there anyway that you can modify the thingy to fit?

im not sure. there is actually a nut holding on to the 'slider' thing but cant be removed(unless by force of course). however if i can remove it, i will be able to switch the direction.

shadow:what do you mean by cant be swap? are you refering to the direction the slider thing is facing? and where can i get the 'special' set of brianclaw? argh.. should have checked first before buying this set.

yes there is some kind of nut that acting as a pivot si that the light assembly can be lift up. I don't thing it can be remove without making a mark

I do not know where brianclaw get it, if I'm not mistaken he open few boxes before found this set. When I saw he selling his, I straight away bought it even though I do not need it at that point of time . I saw few of my coleague having the same light with the screw location as yours. So I belive your is the normal one. Maybe they fix it on the new design.

ok thanks shadow. no offence but that design seriously is abit weird, if not dumb haha nvm will just make do with this then
