nys: haha ya really love those fish and their colour and their lips some got abit red like lipstick. and i notice they dont really school tightly unless i go near the tank bu t they like chasing each other, like one partner each like that and flare. if only they were smaller( baby white cloud mountain minnow are nice,i saw one in my tank but now grown up so not so shiny)
The website might be inaccurate. B. uropthalmodies should be 2cm max. Among the Boraras spp, they are the smallest. Biggest should be B. maculatas, ~3cm.

ok. if thats the case, my choices will be either Axelrodia riesei or B. uropthalmodies . which do you guys think is better or nicer looking?what about Boraras brigittae? i heard that they dont school really well, by like what ranmasatome bro said, in such a small tank, people wouldnt be able to tell if its schooling or not

my boraras brigittae school, but that's probably because of the presence of an agressive Apisto. bitaeniata male in the tank. In my 25cm cube nano, i find my 5 Axelrodia riesei do school most of the time, though at times there's one that likes to swim off on its own

is that harlequin rasbora? i once keep one only and it died the next day. dont know why too cause that time really still a noob at tank stuff. they are nice, but i notice they usually occupy the top level of the water right? is this true for all? as in do they swim around the tank at mid to low level?(come to think of it my tank is so small cant really differentiate top-mid-low level haha)

Harlequin rasbora is Trig. hetaromorpha. This is a similar looking fish, but with a slimmer "triangle" on its body and a coppery-red overtone on its body...really beautiful.

Oh... but thought already mentioned in that thread what fish you can maybe try...

Currently, for bigger fishes, on the market got Rasbora kubotai, Microrasbora erythromicron, Pseudomugil furcatus, Pseudomugil gertrudae, Rasbora rubescence, Sundadanio axelrodi, Rasbora dorsiocellata macrophthalma (this sub-species is much smaller... only about 3.5 cm) and quite alot more on the cheaper "not so expensive or rare" side that i can't immediately think up now..haha...

Common name for T. espei is Lampchop rasbora. They tend to swim top-middle level. I like their sparkling orange body.

For Microrasbora erythromicron, they like to play "hide and seek".

Zebra danio, 5cm max but I doubt they will grow to that size in nana tank. They are hyper active. You might enjoy when feeding them.
