    Hi bros/sis, hope you guys can share re above, for planting of glosso or tenellus which type of sands is better?? And is ADA substrate better then other brands?

    Well, some people did mention they see better results with ADA aquasoil. Personally, I use GEX soil last time. I dont really like it as plants dont really grow well as compared to my previous setup (Just my opinion as previously, I use JBL base fert with black sand). I am waiting to get some aquasoil II to start my new tank..Will give some update later.

    ADA substrate better? Hard to say, there is not competitive study on Aquaium stuff . What I can say is there are new competitor in the market like Gex, magic soils, I never try it my self but some people love it.

    I have tried glosso with lapis and base fertilizer, very good growth as well. However, I believe fine soil is better for foreground plants (rooting).
