    I think you've chosen 3 types of foreground plant. And the rest are background plants. Maybe you can get some mid ground plants.

    I suggest you get more plants maybe some crypts and maybe some smaller Echinodorus sp.

    The Lotus is ok. It will grow big, so remove the bigger leaves and avoid all surface leaves.

    May I know the tank dimensions and parameters e.g. lights, co2, fert?

    Hairgrass the one u have chosen is the short hairgrass meant for foreground to midground, the taller species of HG is for background very nice plant actually.
    App=elatine=ah pek plant
    Cheers!

    maybe you can use the najas indica as a midground plant quite a good choice.

    Hiya

    is that a common snail I see on one of your pics? think it may be best to remove it while there is still a chance.....they will soon populate and become a real problem.

    you could perhaps get a one...only one yellow puffer if you do not have easily stressed fish like discus....the other way is not to push the PH by reducing KH to 6 or 6.3 levels....the absence of KH makes the snail shell soft and difficult for growth.
