Hi all, done setting up the tank with spiky moss... I want to get 2 lamp-eyes fishes to help cycle the tank and as companion to my future CRS. Any comments? Will the lamp-eyes eat the CRS?

It's ok but if you are keeping CRS, then it's better to have the water to be in acidic range of ard 6-7 according to what I understand. Thus, that's why I'm using GEX soil to keep the ph in this range. If you are using other substrate, you may have to lower ph by other means such as using a commercial ph minus solution which is not recomended.

an update... saw only 9 brigittae in my tank and could not find any dead bodies (4) in the tank. Was very surprised and then I saw 2 dried fish on my table But other 2 still MIA. I think probably the cleaner removed the other 2 bodies when cleaning my table... did not know briggitae are great jumpers or maybe I will lower my water level.
