I think this is not new but should be rare. Saw this on wayne schmidt's site, saying somebody microwaving the decapsulated eggs and fed it to the fries. Anyone try that before and how's the result compared to not microwaving?
I have tried that but doesn't seems much differences to me.

haha, sometimes i think "ang mos" are more daring and willing to try out things which we found absurb and amusing. Example, who would think of decapsulate the bbs eggs?

No, the page didn't mentioned the reasons. I guess it's just experimental kind of things. Might be the same reasoning that we cooked the eggs rather than consumed the raw eggs. Anyway, it's not really that troublesome to microwave the eggs.
