    Hey hey,

Planning for a nano/mini-scape for my room, since I get to start afresh, want to get some feedback on planting methods before I go ahead. After browsing the forum pages, I found the emersed methods quite promising.

However, most plants I see in the LFS are kept submersed. I was wondering if there'd substantial stress on plants when I try to convert them to emersed, then subsequently, back to submersed form. Or would it be better for the submersed cultures to be in water from day one?

    Thanks.
    Cheers, Wenn.

Based on my understanding, the plants will adapted to the environment at a progressive rate so no harm trying both submersed and emersed.
