    hi all my tank has been setup for around 1 and a half weeks already.. im wondering when is the time for liquid fertilizer and insertion of those fertilizer sticks?

    If you're using base fert. there's no need for fert. sticks till quite sometime...

    Liquid fert. dosing got to see yr plants. if they start to grow slower, or leaves change. Basically, any change in the plants, then slowly dose, half the recommended initially...

    Doses also have to adj. with requirements of plants.If not sure dose less first, else algae will start blooming everywhere. And fert. dosing not cheap so dose only what is ned for lush growth

    if u have rosette plants, u can add sticks or monster booster for additional help.. as for liquid fert, I think its still too early.. u may wanna do wat zerocool advise and add a faction of the recommended dosage

    I think the key is patience. Study/monitor your tank conditions. Your plants can tell you what's wrong if anything arises. It will help if you heavily plant your tank.
