For 150K you can get a whole lot of car and then some. If you want something simple like pure NA power, I've been hearing all kinds of good stuff from the Civic type R both JDM and Euro version. For TC cars, the Evo 10 is out and the 08 STI will be here in in 3-4 months The GTR35 is going for around 300K

GTR.... It's only a matter of time before the aftermarket tuners figure out how to do it.
Spec C is definately road legal. My good buddy owned one but sadly he sold it away several months ago.
Given that budget, I would opt for either an STi, Evo9 (But looks wise is bad for corporate image), EvoX and Golf GTi. Mitsuis are almost idiot proof and makes lousy drivers look and feel like Makkinen, Subaru - pure drivers' car & VW, for the DSG. While my 4 recommendations are towards the force fed camp (Don't get me wrong, I love NA too) but modifications with NA engines reap less improvement as compared to turbos. Secondly, after the basic mods are done, cam swaps are inevitable if you are looking for more power. The powerband is shifted higher in the rpm range as such. Definately a bummer to drive around the city!
With $150k, there's a lot that can be done. Remember to set aside some money to upgrade the brakes as well! Have fun!

With a good sequential system, you lose about 3-5% in power.
And if you do it before you register your new car, you get 40% rebate of the OMV. If you get a nice car with high OMV value, you can save up to 10-20+k. The cost of installation is about 3.5k.
You can check out www.cng.com.sg or www.scantruck.com.sg.
The first website is under Melchers. I have visited them. They are quite professional. There are 2 refill stations, both in the west. MOre will pop up. There will be one in the north soon.
Some people will think that you are crazy to install CNG for your performance car. The cyclinder will take up some boot space. It's much larger than our CO2 cyclinders. Like I said, if it's a new car, you actually get back some rebate, over and above what you pay to get the system installed, and you can do your part for the Earth.

The forester STI is quite cool and grows on you. Here's a clip that's been shown to death featuring 1 hot lady and 2 of my favorite cars
YouTube - battle of the stis

Definitely the brakes dude.. I don't to kill myself or other in the process of becoming the next DK....kakakaka...
With 4 cylinder and 2-2.5L there isn't much you can do for NA not like my old car a 1969 Mustang 302...some serious speed man...But too bad that time I was only a poor school boy and got no money to pimp it up..

SHould I change the gear box to hollinder??

singapore road is never designed for speed, unless you are talking about cheap thrill straight line speed, which is also dangerous to other commuters.
A track day will be the best way to push your car to the limit and also challenge your driving skill.
If I have the money, I will buy myself one daily driver and one track day car.

Stephen, picked your weapon yet?
For your info, there is a preowned Spec C for sale on sgcarmart.
