Anyone here using a JBJ nano cube? Any comments about this tank is welcomed as im considering to get one. Will a JBJ nano cube be good to be used as a planted tank?

I purchased a Boyu MT-30 from Midori not long ago. I don't see any problem using such tanks low tech planted. In fact, I fell in love with these small tanks. Only set back is such tanks are not ideal for photography and competitions due to the bowed front.

Yup, those all in one nano cubes really look great. Not only that, they're kinda space saving too i should say. That is what that is attracting me to get one.

Yup, I got the 24gal one. The lighting is quite powerful about 3 watt per gallon. The made looks good, for my model it comes with 2 fan to suck out the hot air produce by the 2 - 36watts lighting. And there's 2 - moonlight (Blue LED). But not very effective as the water temp hovers around 30.5 during the day. So have to open the feeding lid to let the temp cool to 29.0. But the feeding lid is quite loose which I doesn't like. Hope they can improve on it.

Smallest model is the 6 gallon ones. There are 3 sizes, the 6, 12 and 24 gallon model.

I can't sent you an email because you have configure your setting to no emails from forumers.

I believe you can check the price from Midori as they carry both Boyu and JBJ series.

Hi catohcat, very difficult as you know there's no way you can attach a fan there. Only possiblity is to install chiller.

nano tank try not to use for CRS, i've a nano tank 9L 20x20x23 and water parameters and temperature shift too drastically.

Besides, you need a > 500L/H cannister for a nano chiller like artica + ehem 2213 > onwards.. i think , cannot remember the model no. and these filters will be too strong ;116 gph for small tanks.
