What to do with mouth brooding male betta?

My B. albimarginata male had eggs in his mouth. But 2 days later, he lost the puffiness of the throat and his belly was damn fat. Eggs definately in his tummy now. Think he most likely swallowed the eggs while i was feeding the tank. He came to feed as well.

do you guys remove the mouth brooding male and stop feeding him until the fries are free swimming? If i net out the male when he is mouth brooding to a breeder box, won't he eat the eggs as well when spooked?

My Channoide is also mouthbrooding. somehow, he has the discipline to control himself from eating. I remove the rest of the Channoide from the tank after a week. Now, I stop feeding him. Hope everything goes well.
