    Well, i suspect so. But the swimming looks spacous as all are small sized fishes.

    I don't think it's eaten if you see empty shells. They will be missing esp the smaller ones. Prolly fear of being eaten.

    Maybe in some cases some will die and your other fishes will feast on them, but I don't think any of your fish killed them.

    Saw the loaches feasting on a big glass shrimp when i came back from home, again. Wonder if they killed it. Anyway, the yamatoes are always busying among the branches (tied with moss and big dark green riccia) and should be safe from them.
