Supposedly a new specimen discovered in Columbia mid 2007, discussed on a Netherlands forum. Would greatly appreciate if the masters here can provide more information about this unknown specimen? Thanks in advance.

The elongated face looks similar to the A.sp "Maulbruter" of the A.cacatuoides complex.
From some forums, seems like they have temporary named it A. sp "Kelleri".

Seems like it will be a fish with very beautiful gill cover markings.

    Hi wiki,
I believe you are an quite an expert with privy to news like this.
What do you think of the fish?

I would like to get my hands on them.
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

Hi all, thank you for your views. Yes, the current name given is Ap. sp. 'Kelleri' for this specimen.

Aside to Yorky, I think there many more better experts here. I must say this is an extremely good looking specimen with good potential. I do not think it is available here but you could always check with the LFS if it is on their list. On a personal note, be prepared to pay a premium for new specimens like this. Our local market is quite different from Japan's.

Here are some more picture from the Netherlands forum.

Wiki, seeing that you've posted quite a handful of information post, looks like you're quite an expert yourself.

How about sharing your insights on apisto keeping & the fishes you keeping currently.

    Cheers!

    Wiki,

Someone has requested that the images be removed as you do not own the copyright to the images. To allow this thread to continue, you could post the link to the thread in the Netherlands forum in which the images appeared.

    Thank you for your understanding.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
