    Hi Guys

Are they good in planted tanks? Got some for my new tank and dont think they can find much food in the planted tank.

Do you guys give them special food cos they are not eating my tetras food since its floating.

    Thanks.

buy the momozi extra fine food or some other brands that sinks. You can always throw in extras for them to sink to the bottom. Dun worry abt the food, the shrimps will take care of it(if you keep shrimps)

It's ok to keep them but you'll find most of them hiding behind plants. For mine, I guess they are not really shy and I can see them all the time. Do take note that scarlet badis are very small.

the momozi and tetra sinking food is very widely available. Both are readily accepted by fishes. Most tetra food comes in yellow packaging. Momozi comes in blue packaging and should not cost more than $3. I fed my neons from 1.5cm to 3cm using momozi cos it's so nice for them to get. Then I switched to tetra, whatever brand I can get and even LH food! They will eat anything.

I feed my Badis brine shrimps and daphia. They'll eat tubifex too. How big will badis grow to?
