here are some photos of the caves i won from zCliff's contest at plecofanatics.
i offered to pay for shipping knowing he had to send them halfway round the world!
but like a gentleman he said "no way!" (btw shipping was USD$37.00)
and paid the generous price of the shipping!

here are the caves he sent me.
i believe the box can hold about 10 to 12 caves.
they are very well made (well cut and even pieces).
also, he included some attachments for the caves (to left of picture).
the attachments are suppose to make the entrance smaller and keep the eggs IN.

the tank setup with his caves.

here a cool cat on the left.
i've not seen them facing outwards of a cave before though...

you can see his profile and gallery --- > here
if you're looking at this post - Thanks Bud!

    Very neat setup!

    Spread the L046 poison

So in future if i want to start fish keeping again you'll be the person in charge for the L046
    Cheers!

Looks like the zebras are loving it. I've always been a fan of your zebras! What are the caves made of? Looks like 4 pieces of woods glued together.

caves are made from slate material.
the kind you use in the bathroom floor.
    almost like ceramic/chinese teapot material.
absorbs water and not too smooth.

its suitable for pleco in the size range of the L046, about 3" to 5" range.

the caves in NKS are done by akoh.
made from PVC tubing with lapis sand silicon to outer surface.
    quite neat too!
