Under these circumstances, I would only recommended 4 to 6 pieces.

Yes. The more the merrier. However, there is not enough space in your vivarium setup.

You have some Corydoras hasbrosus in your previous setup right?
2ft x 1ft x 1.3ft tank...if without the apisto, I will keep 15-20 C.hasbrosus.
Just saw your vivarium photos. Looks nice. But the condition doesn't look very favorable..
Did you test the water parameters?

previous set up was the plastic guppy tank.. now change to 1ft cube vivarium.. and sold off the hasbrosus le.. now im keen on buying this cute little fellow again..

For your info, Y618 is selling C.hasbrosus.![]()

i will be buying from c328.. y618 more expensive =)

@freshman: well i added 6 cory.hasbrosus yesterday.. they started muching on the frozen bloodworm few hours upon releaseing..
@benny: i will be keeping a pair of apisto agasizzi "super red" in the 2ft tank.. with 12 C.hasbrosus.. you think the agasizzi will attack the cory?

I'm can't be sure. Most of my smaller Apistogramma agassizii don't really attack the Corydoras habrosus in my tank. But that could be due to the fact that the Apistogramma agassizii is still relatively small at about 4 to 6 cm. I had a 10 cm specimen that bites anything that comes near. Even larger corydoras species!!

Welcome back to Corydoras
Possible to share some photos of those C.hasbrosus in your vivarium?
Are you using any gravels? A thin layer of fine riversand will look great.
* Are you planning to breed those apisto?
If yes, then I suggest you to focus solely on them. Corydoras are not ideal tankmates for cichlid breeding tank.

here freshman.. the picture
