Soaking them in water first may help, or stir the floating FD bloodworm may sink some of them.
Just bought a tin of freeze-dried bloodworms but have problem making the food sink. I have tried using a pair of pincers clamped with a bundle of the FD bloodworms and my cardinal tetras simple pull and snatch the food away at mid-level of the tank. I'm cracking my head as how to better feed the mid-level fish with this type of food. The FD bloodworms simple float on the water surface and usually left untouched for more than 24 hrs. Can anyone share how please?

Can try this... use those feeding cone, drop your bloodworm into it, invert the cone before pushing it below the water surface (need some practice). I personally have not tried it out before, but worth a shot.

i think soaking it beforehand and pushing it down while floating so it absorbs water would help
Hello brothers, many thanks for the suggestions..
Bro Quixotic, the brand I got is Futian FD Bloodworms, somehow all the BW would not sink even after I soak them. I even use a spoon to creat the 'scoop-and-pour' action on the water surface in attempt to 'force' the BW to sink into the tank, but the BW would still quickly come up to the surface. Sianzz...
Bro Eric, maybe I should try using your suggestion, just wondering if the BW can 'wriggle' out of the little holes of the feeding cone. I will try using this later..
Bro Illumnae, have tried soaking method, what do I use to push BW down? Even when fully soaked, the BW simply won't sink.
Hmm..I'm still thinking of a more effective method to solve this. My fish simply love the freeze-dried BW just won't venture to the water surface much to feed it.

float in some tank water and squeeze the worm with tweezers inside the water...they will sink after that. works for me.
Just get the frozen variety? that way it'll feed all levels.
Tried your suggestion and kudos for that!Over 90% of FD bloodworms sinks and my mid-level swimming fish are well-fed. Even my plecos are enjoying the bits and pieces at the bottom. The only hinge is the trouble to stir mix and sqeeze with the tweezers. After finishing this can, I'm gonna get the frozen type. Thank you all for the inputs.
