I have been searching around online but unable to find any illustration to show how to tie moss to create a "tree" effect.

also can any bros advice me on which type of design is suitable for it?

the moss tied is it christmass moss?

appreciate it as I find it is very nice.

    thanks

you will need to find a suitable wood that looks like a tree then can continue to other things.. personally, Xmas moss, taiwan moss and Spikymoss can create nice tree look alike effect.. maybe java can too.

java can get quite wild, best is either fissiden or tw/christmas moss as they got more uniformly.

select and determine the plants to grow is easy, finding an ideal "tree" like driftwood is hard.

    Hi Zoombee,

I think if you are having a 3ft tank or bigger, the chances of getting one driftwood is higher then smaller tank size. I am also looking for one that can scape like a tree but have not been successful to find one.

Try look for those broader base driftwood/bogwood.

You can try biotope for their clay model, looks very nice. Don't be fooled by the small size, when you have the moss growing, it can look very big. You can also try Midori for a bigger wood, saw some a month ago.
