    Dear all,

I just went to a LFS to check out the fertiliser available. What was presented totally confound me.

In the past, I had just dose a weekly Seachem Iron and Flourish.

What I saw in the LFS shows Potassium, Nitrogen, Magenesium, Excel, Flourish.....etc.

For a planted tank, are we then to dose every single fertiliser like those mentioned above on a weekly basis?

Kindly advice what is a typical combination of fertiliser regime for a planted tank.

    Thank You.

    Regards
    Newcastle

you can buy pre-mixed liquid fertilizers such as Lushgro or Wondergro. They come in Macro and Micro ferts, so you don't need to worry about anything else, just dose 2 types as directed the individual nutrients are for people who want more control over their dosing regime, or who have a specific nutrient they need

Bro, no need to worry so much, as your tank is new and mainly fern, nana and crypt, just dose the potassium for another 2 weeks and the start on a little seachem fert or the ada special shade i gave you on a weekly basis.
