It is a yes and no, depending on how appropiate the link is. If the link is useful to the members, providing them with more information and indepth details, I see no reason why not share the information
I tried to answer this question myself, but I could not find the "read-me" file or any post on this issue... I've witnessed Cacatuoides post a breeder's website for Endler's Livebearers (My Endler's Livebearers). So I'm assuming it is ok if we do this? Say I wanted to post a general-aquaria website, such as tropica, this would be allowed? Thanks for clearing this up for me.

To post websites and links for further discussion of any specific topic is fine. Blatant spamming of URL to get members here to visit any specific website is frowned upon and swift actions will be taken to rectify the situation.
