Sounds good to me... Must have deep pockets... As most exporters don't send single pairs. They need minimum orders.

perhaps sometime in the future when we have gathered enough of a following in the hobby we can do a high quality mass order together from Japan/Germany/Taiwan to deepen the gene pool available locally. I think Thio once mentioned to me he'd be willing to facilitate such a mass order, but of course we need to make up the numbers!

Haha i think this is way off topic though. Back to Eman and what he should breed...

And in the end, find out that the "super Red" were actually all from the same Cech Republic supplier!!!

I agree with Benny on this point.

Wow, it seems that you guys are thinking i'm going into some serious projects of breeding. Its just that my tanks are empty right now and i missing breeding cichlids like in the past, of course i miss raising fries and watching them grow too....so I've decided to breed A. Cacatuoides for the time being and will eventually move on to the majestic B. Macrostoma!!! whether they breed or not, it's simply amazing to enjoy every bit of their beauty!!

Eman, why don't you consider getting a different type of apisto to breed? You've been in the circle for quite a while. Time to move on

My suggestion will still be the few : A.miua,A.mendezi,A.eliz(better type),A.caca(wild form)

    Cheers!

If you really want to go into A. caca super red breeding, try getting a pair from Wilhelm.
I'd rather be specific here. Not just any German/European breeders.
The intensity of the redness and the contrast with the black is just too much for me.
But you'll love it, I think.
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

Certainly, i'm sure if you manage to sell the offsprings of the Wilhelm caca many of us forumers will be glad to purchase from you. Since caca are generally easy, why don't you re-consider those suggestions.

But the interesting question is.... Where to get the fishes?

Anyway, eman may put Bettas in there now.

    Cheers,

It will not be cheap if getting from overseas but the satisfaction will be great.

    Wow Benny! You're right!

I'll still be breeding cacatuoides for fun but am also joining the dark force or wild bettas...
Will slowly transit from breeding apistos to breeding wild bettas!! But definitely won't give up apistos totally but just taking a short break

Just wish to learn more about other types of fishes!
