Panoramic Nano Iwagumi (my first planted attempt)

Here's my first attempt after reading all the amazing setups and tips in AQ for the past couple of days.
Went to Serangoon North Ave 2 yesterday and found this unique looking tank.
Dimensions :610W (2ft) x 200D x 230H
The tank will hold approximately 24L / 6 US Gal.
Made in China (for Japanese market I was told)
Will look for some more stuff during lunch later... will continue to update you guys... as this is my first attempt... comments and guidance from all the "si fu" (masters) out there are very much appreciated

Here's a closer look at the 5mm glass tank. The mandarin oranges are there to give a sense of scale
I have calculated the weight of the fully stocked tank to be around 25kg... will the Ikea Billy shelf be able to withstand it? 25kg doesn't seem like a lot to me actuallyWhat do you guys think?
I spent the whole night thinking about finding a mat base for the tank... out of my surprise the tank actually came with a black 5mm foam mat cut exactly to size... great

wah man... either its a blantant copy or a fake... the sticker look different from what i saw in Japan... but that was 2 yrs back...Interesting... I found a sticker on the tank too
From the looks of the shelf, the top piece of wood is not resting on the vertical supports. So I think not able to support the weight over time. If you can find a longer top piece that can rest on the vertical support would be better. Also there's no support from the front. Looks weak to me.Here's a closer look at the 5mm glass tank. Better not rest it on that shelf dude. I've got lots of furniture from that company, and I know how they fare in the long run.

Found a 2ft x 2 tubes T5 light fixture this afternoon
Replaced one of the "no brand" 10000K 24W tube with Osram 6500K 24W... so I have a total of 48W for 24 Liter (2W/Liter)... will go with this tubes combination for now... till I start to introduce plants
The fixture's supporting legs also act as a hinge allowing the fixture to flip open to allow easy access
Light source is less than 1ft from the sand bed.
Also bought the substrate... been reading about mixing these 2 products on the internet... so I'll just get the same combination... quite uneconomical but luckily my tank is still considered tiny

Hmm... Is your substrate combination better than ADA amazonia2 and powdersand?

As for the substrate... I wouldn't say better lah... just another brand... I am too noob now to be able to do any fair comparison
