Drafting Table - where is a good shop to buy?

Hi does anyone know of a good shop that sells drafting tables. Drafting table are those tables where the desk top is able to be set at a variable height & angle. Thanks

you can check out ikea, they do have some leg post that can angle, alternatively, if you looking for a real drafting table, go to Art friends at Bras Basah complex, some of the art shops have them as well. Why do you need a drafting table? last one I touched when I was in polytechnic eons ago

Thanks Simon, have been getting a sore back due to bad posture so forcing the change by getting a angled desk. The IKEA tables are ok, but looking for something better.

oh, perhaps a change in chair will be a better choice? Those drafting tables in Bras Basah is really for drafting , some are even magnetic

Hi Simon, have a good chair, but need a table that is adjustable in height and has an adjustable angle as well. I went to Art Friends today, they have good painting easels, but not the tables that an engineer would use, so still looking.

sorry, made you go on a wasted trip. The brand of drafting table that my school had was Mutoh and their distributor in SG is United stationery at International plaza off Tanjong Pagar. You might want to google on the product first though, don't know if that is what you are looking for

Art friend do carry them under the brand Rostring. I bought mine for about $2XX about 10 year ago. My sister in law also got one. If you can wait, i may be able to coax her to part with it for a token.

I think you meant Rotring, these days manual drafting has been replaced by CAD software, once easily available it is a dying trade (for manual drafting that is)

I bought mine many many years ago in a shopping centre opposite funan centre. I forgot the name of the building already. But i remember clearly that the shopping centre is a very quiet one with a lot of shops selling high end sound systems. Name of the shop if i never remember wrongly is Graffiti or something located on level 4 or 5. Not too sure if the shop is still around.

I am still looking for a table that has an adjustable height & angle... International plaza didn't have any. So any other shops recommendations happily accepted.
