Gung ho driving by Ham, says it all about Fuji F1 GP. And zero point for that ego.

Standard engine is good but it will all depend on how each teams modify theirs to get as much power from that engine as possible.

with so much manufacters' team in F1 i dont think they will agreed with a standard engine. Quite weird. if ferrari supplys all the engine, what will happen to mcclaren ? mercedes will put out of they sponsorship ?

The BMW, Honda, Renault, etc are that for exposure of their brands.

The standard engine proposal is even more stupid than the engine freeze ruling. Manufacturers want to gain from the money spent on development. I'd pull out if I were a car manufacturer. This is at a time when FIA wants to attract more car manufacturers (assuming they will bring more money)by imposing another dumb rule where teams have to build their own cars. Teams like Red Bull/Torro Rosso/Force India would be out. They already killed Super Aguri with money.

I would think a standard engine are engine that they have currently for the road car. Not the F1 spec racing engine.

The newspaper said the proposal was for each team to build their own engine to a standard design. Teams without manufacturer support would get theirs from an independent contractor.
This was mentioned in the link by barmby. They still get to build their own engine, but defined by certain standard specifications.

Brazil Interlagos Grand Prix 2008 Qualifying

Massa scores a hat-trick by claiming provisional pole for the final GP for 2008.
Therefore, driver championship is still possible for him although challenging. Constructor champonship is likely to be claimed by Ferrari.

    1. F Massa
    2. J Trulli
    3. K Raikkonen
    4. L Hamilton

Kovalainen hasnt played the supporting role very well all season, today/tommorow (depending on time zone) could be his most important yet if Hamilton is to claim his title. Still alot of work for Massa to do, but nothing is certain and as we've seen all season - absolutely anything can be expected at any point.

I thought Vettel had ruined it for him, i was cussing in my head so bad, and had all but given up hope.

Then out of nowhere i saw Glock, and i was thinking; "Did that car he just passed really count for a position. Was that actually Glock with a problem".

Then sheer jubilation and utter shock. Was funny seeing Massa's crew prancing around thinking they'd won, untill they saw the screen Hehe

What a season. Roll on the next aye

Hurray, Sebastian Loeb won the World Rally Champion for the 5th consecutive time! Wonder who would break this record........

i was aghast when i noticed glock slowing down and hamilton passing him
i support brazil over good 'ol england - both in f1 and in football
poor massa - he drove a splendid race and was SOOOOO close
he won more races than hamilton but still ended up losing the world championship
well...i must give it to him though... he took defeat with absolute dignity
    he's a real likeable chap

Don't know why i just never liked Massa, i think its because he's at Ferrari. I seem to have trend of disliking drivers at Ferrari. Raikkonen is the latest example, i loved him at McLaren, now i dislike him. Massa certainly looked dejected up on the podium at the end, i don't think anyone could quite believe how it turned out, mainly the last 20 seconds!

Good race, and its certainly bolstered the reputation of the sport with events that have taken place such has been the case all season

Massa is gracious in defeat from what i have read in many news reports. And Ham is the people's champion.
