    Hi all,

It has been quite some years since I last bred Apistos. Dropped by C328 and saw a pair of trifiscata on Thursday and decided to try it out again. Hopefully they will breed soon. Here are some shots to share

    Cheers,
    DX

    Hello DX,

Nice Ap. trifasciata. What species were you breeding previously?

Thanks Eugene. I have bred A.borelli and A.agassizii before never tried A.trifasciata before so decided to give it a try. The male is rather aggressive think i have to increase the amount of hiding places for the female.

Thanks Richard. But i think i still have much more to learn regarding aquarium photography. This is only my 2nd attempt at it. Please feel free to criticize and give me some pointers. =)

    dxchen,
I am very new to photography too.
I love the border too, looks like something you see in a good aquarium book.
Sorry to sidetrack a bit, but where did you get the borders from?
    Thanks

Thanks guys haha looks like my border if getting quite some of attention. I did an automated script in photoshop some time back to frame the better photos. For those interested can drop me a pm I can send you the script itself.

blackghost, you can drop by c328 to check if they still have. Think you can request for it if they don't have stock.

Valice, sorry for the incorrect species spelling. Thanks for editing will take note of it. =)

Quite refreshing to rear these fishes once again. However, the male seems rather territorial and I doubt the female is ready to breed too. Guess I shall have to pump them up with bbs till that one fateful day.

probably giving my cousin the pair as a gift.. but will try out for 2 weeks personally.. if the poison hits. then i will start with apistos
