    Hi all,

how do you usually make a natural hill downward sloping (like a right-angled triangle) with java ferns? I am thinking of making one for left front side of my tank about an area 20 (L) x15 (W) x 20 (H) cm..

With driftwood and stones? Just tie the ferns to it? If cannot find a single piece, how to arrange multiple pieces such that they will not collapse?

    Anyone has experience before? thanks.

you can probably stack the rocks and tied some ferns to the stones.

Another way I think possible is to slope the substrate upwards and use some drift woods to hold the slope. The ferns you can tie it to the rocks and stuff it in the substrates
