    Hi all

I'm using an Eheim 2026 external filter. Everytime I increase the flow of my filter, some brown shit keeps spitting out of the outlet. I suspect it's algae accumulated in the pipe. Please suggest ways to control/rid of these brown stuff.

    Thank you.

    hi little bear

this is fairly common...unless you are prepared to strip out all the pipings and give it a good pull though, you will always have this brown thingy....like for myself i am so used to it and doesnt really bother me.

    hi little bear,

you can try to put a net in front of the outlet to catch the brown stuff.
