Erm.... i'm sure most of us are waiting for the plants to be put in or are we wrong in our assumptions?
Do show us a straight on photo of the tank. Side angles are hard to judge hardscape.

well, i have those small clumps of us fissiden in.
wanted to keep it simple. hassle free. thought of getting glosso but have to trim often.
does the rock placement look weird? first time using them as scape.
intend to keep perhaps a pair of guppy or 8 shrimps. (8 for " fa" in chinese.)
Looks alright to me.
Tip-
I would tie a teeny bit of the fissidens on the tip of a toothpick and stab it into the soil with the plant sticking out a little. This is would maximise what you have and also allow the plant to flow downward as with it's normal pattern of growth. Don't use cotton that will melt to tie as you need to wait 3-6 months for it to become triple or quadruple the amount.

To be very frank, I don't think there will be much to show for by next Thursday.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
I read the title again and what? For CNY? er...Gwabbie, better you go out and buy some plug and play ferns for the time being.
[I did say 3-6 months for the fissidens...]

recently i just tore down a huge us fissiden from a driftwood, so i have got plently to play around. but decided to have just a little planted in.
all i need to have is to get it cycled asap and add in some fishes and shrimps.
somehow i want to fissiden to look like bushes of plants in the desert thou the soil is dark in colour.
