    As above, I'm stuck.

I'm getting it for my newt tank, but I don't know if compressor type ones are overkill for such a small tank.

I saw a dolphin one at C328 some time ago, but I wonder if it can bring the temperature down to about 23 degrees.

And can anyone give me a rough idea of the price? the cheapest one possible. lol

    Thanks.

for 1 ft tank, I guess the dolphin (2 fan type) could bring it down to 25degC depending on your ambient temperature.

for 1.5ft tank or 2ft tank, me and larlee is using Hailea HC130. So far so good. I set my temperature at 26degC

Hmm.. is it able to lower the temperature to below 23 degrees?

And whats the price range like?

And if I've the chiller, do I need a canister filter?

    Thanks

Why do you need to adjust the temperature to 23degC? Is it really needed? I thought 26 will be a very good temperature.

I would think getting a used resun cl280 at less then $150 will justify...i have tried DIY those TEM chiller with 2 peltier but was rather disappointed with the performance...eventually found a used cl280 and been running it since..

    Cheers,

Is the cl280 able to lower the temperature till like, 22 degrees?

And do I need a canister filter in order to use that chiller?

    Thanks

Should be able to chill to 22C, but what are you keeping that need such low temp ? CRS ? I am keeping crs at 25C.

Yes, you will need at least a pump to pump water to the chiller if you are not using a canister.

    Cheers
