Just to add...does discoloration appear on ALL crs in tank once certain parameters are not met or does only CERTAIN pieces lose coloration?
Got a similar scenario with some of my 2week old crs. Was wondering if its dependant on individual as i have some that maintain color while some loses it.

If it is grade B , can't expect much right?

Maybe a picture will be good to show the extend of the dis-coloration.

Meaning A grade and up discoloration will be consistent with all pieces?

Yes, you can usually if not, always expect better consistency with the good - premium grades. though i don't really know how they grade the shrimps, ie by what standards and how they measure it across the board.

Water temperature plays an important part in the coloration, your water temperature is on the high side, I maintain mine at 25º to 26ºC which is already a compromise, as I have read from some forum mention by some local breeders, they show their best color at 22ºC.

    Cheers,

I have just started using the Resun CL280, bill wise have yet to be seen (estimate to be around $20 ?)..there are few factors to be consider like location of your tank, glass thickness, filtration and water movement...all this will affect the temperature and therefore chiller kicking in more or less often.

I have not use Hailea before but i find my resun to be of good value for the money and its not noisy.

    Cheers,
