Where I live (Australia) Eheim filter is very expensive. It's double the price of Singapore sometime more. Basically the sole distributor is too greedy. I cannot find Singapore online shop that can send filter overseas Because of this I am looking at other option like Rena filter. I use Rena heaters for many years with no problem. I like to know if anybody uses the new Rena Filstar XP cannister filter? Or have heard of anybody that has one. I like to know if this is a good product. I want to make sure before I get one since over here you still have to pay Singapore Eheim price for Rena. Thanks in advance.

Errmm... why not other online petshops that will ship International?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

US prices are cheap but they 110v while Australia 240V. UK uses 230V but they are not that cheap.

Hi Akoh, I think Rena makes good product. It's worth trying.
I am dissapointed with Eheim distributor here, I was told by my LFS that Australia is the most expensive place to get Eheim product because of the greedy distributor. If you want to know how cheap prices in Singapore check this site. http://www.aquaria.com.au/. They sells products cheaper than most pet shops.
By the way do you know where you can buy Rena filter in Singapore, maybe if I pay more for packaging they can send it to me. I feel that if I am buying Eheim product here I am just making the greedy b****%d richer.

Thanks Akoh. Yes, that's where I bought Eheim filter last time. They are pretty cheap and I don't have to bargain if I buy few items he always give me discount. But I don't have plan to go to Singapore in the near future.
PS: I am cycling my peppermint catfish tank. How is the last batch of your zebra fries??

Akoh, your tank is big enough for you to get in[] .
Big success with your zebra. I don't know anybody that has done it successfully here, I know some have tried (for big bucks).
I just called Petmart and he (Ben?) is willing to try it and he is going to give me a postage cost. It will be good if it work out. I'll every body here know that we can get it cheaper buying from Singapore.
    Have a good weekend!
