using "Wood Tight" to tie Bolbitis

Hi ,
I wonder if i am using "wood tight" or similar type from hardware shop to tie
Bolbitis on driftwood.
will the expose metal wire after cutting cause any problem to the fish or plants in long term ?

It shouldn't be an issue since you can take the ties out (Amano does that) after the Bolbitis has attached itself to the wood.
