no. standard lengths are 2ft, 3ft, 4ft.
you may need to customize your light set as well.

I found that a FL tube must not cover the entire length, a standard 1.9ft T5 tube lights my 2.6ft setup (2 standard german 40x25cm tanks side by side) perfectly fine. Also, 1.9ft T5s come in 14 and 24 watt only, so depending on your tank height you may have to use two of them anyway, and you could position them in an offset then.

hmm my main concern is to get a fitting T5 light case for 2.5ft if possible. I have been hunting around but cannot seem to find 2.5ft lights
most likely, you'll need to customize or diy your own light set.
check nature aquarium to see if they can customize a light set for you.

Yeah, agree.
If you DIY, can stagger multiple 2 ft tubes, as in, flush one of them to the right, and the other to the left so that coverage will be more complete.
Cheers!

Good point. What alternative arrangement do you suggest?

should be ok to have a little more light in the centre.
there may not be a lot of options for a 2.5' tank.
