I do not think anyone has a comprehensive list. Most people use yamatos to control algae, and when the algae is under control, they might supplement the tank with algae wafers to keep the yamatos from their plants.

Anyone had Yamato Prawns before?
I heard that they are able to control algae growth in the tank? true?
Does anyone recommend keeping them? Think they're kinda interesting...

Shrimps not prawns..

They are good and effective algae eating machines.

I have some green "hair" growing on my glass and on the wire mesh which i am growing my mini riccia....
Oh...does oto eat all kinds of algae too?
