    Hi all,

While waiting for my new tanks from ADA to arrive. I have been thinking of some aquascaping ideas.

I would like to recreate a scene in the tropical rainforest. I was thinking of using hairgrass as a carpet with rocks and pebbles all around. The most difficult part will be looking for driftwoods to form the base of the "canopy" What I cannot figure out is what to use to form the top of the "canopy"?

    Any advice or suggestions?

    Cheers!

Well, go to Biotope to look for some nice driftwood. If not, you can go Midori too

Thanks! Have already asked the staff from the shops to alert me when their new driftwood arrives.

Actually my problem is I cannot figure out how to plant the 'canopy'? Use moss sparsely on the top and let it sway? Hahaha

wah bro..you are adopting my idea ah? haha..hope you find your dream dw soon

as for the canopy effect, remember why i got all the moss from you?
the moss has to be abandonly grown to have that canopy effect.
a good selection of the dw with many branches will help loh.

Hmmm I dun think its similiar to yours. I thinking of doing something like this (Not sure if its okay to hotlink, Mods do remove it if its not allowed):

    From ADA Thailand Website

Just that I will do it on a much smaller scale
