hi guys, 1week ago mildly rescaped my crs tank.. getting messier and messier liao.. till i cant see my crs.
took out all the wood and simply just put side by side at the back.. and to my surprise, i got a moss wall lookalike!
but now not into aquascaping anymore.. simple moss tank and plain looking so i can see my crs more clearly..
    tanks specs here:
    tank size 2x1x1.3
substrate - ADA amazonia bottom and GeX red packing top.
    filteration - Ehiem 2213
    temperature 25 - 27C
    co2, ferts - None
pH 6.0 - 6.3(trying to use CC to increase to 6.5)
flora- spiky moss, flame moss, taiwan moss, minni pellia, pellia, us fissiden, japanese/singapore fissiden and willow moss.
fauna - CRS, cherry and orange shrimp.
heres how it looks before rescaping.

Now( the side are acctually quite bright. sorry for my lousy skills)

Flame moss on wood. i like this wood cause it forms a cave in the middle

moss wall lawn by just using a few skinny wood placed side by side.

    mini pellia on mesh.
    growing pretty well..

    comments please!
    thanks

    Hi EvolutionZ, Nice moss wall..!
Your moss wall is not one big piece of mesh right? but a form by a few smaller pieces of mesh?
    Cheers

do be careful as shrimps might swim to the back of the moss wall and if any die, you would not be able to know.

nice moss wall as back drop. very much like the v shaped. by the way, i don't think its messy. but if you want to see only crs, might want to do a low plant lawn with either iwagumi or just a moss driftwood in the mid as show piece.

I think the only way for me to be in this hobby is to buy ready made tank. The lazy man way

haha, me shrimp is ok with 26oC tank, i also give up on it, now just keep the tank there with some CRS n dont care abt it liao. Coincidentially, i have recently just embarked on having a high tech tank too. haha but be real careful n cautious with all ur CO2, fert n lighting spec. one wrong move, n algea will invade ur tank. thats what i am facing now . haha

I am having a 2ft tank low tech , no fertilizer, no CO2. Simply 30% WC with overnight water once a week.

Kept the CRS within 24 -25 deg C. Success in breeding baby crs and diamonds.
