Had some Cories in the past and also a dozen from Seng Bros yesterday (panda, sterbai, venezuelanus, zygatus).
They eat bloodworms but won't touch Tetra TabiMin.
Curious what other food appeals to Cories from the farms.

microworm ...
microworm? Mine likes Sera Viformo , Granumix Vital n the Premium Tabs. Sera Viformo n Premium Tabs are sinking tablets while the Granumix Vital are sinking granulates. I alternate feeding them.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

mine eats tetra bits.

For those sinking tablet/granulates, do the Corys go at them straigtaway? My corys seem to meander pass the food without realising it's there. After a while the broken down tablet disappear (either eaten or dissolved completely and into the filter).

How long is 'after a while'? Got snails? I've seen mine munching on a algae wafer my SAEs missed. Takes them a long time to find it and finish it though.

Maybe I should called it mini-worm ... but I know that they like them alot.
They simply can't resist them. Hey! I got alot babies. So this is one of the factor i guess. []

Vinz,
Like 20 mins, maybe more. Must lurk around the tank to monitor.
[No snails, just a bare quarantine tank].
CoryDorus,
Thanks for the info. Looking at the way they zip all over the tank banging into things... yes, must be quite blind.

Kwangjw, my cories seems 2 'smell' the tablets the moment it landed on the gravel. The whole group would scurry 2 the tablets. As 4 the granulates, I always pour it at a certain area in the tank. I have trained my fishes 2 know when I'll be feeding them. I'll feed the fishes that occupy the top n mid level of the tank 1st. When they stop eating, then I'll feed the cories. Apistos also likes the tablet food.

Kwangjw,
If there is nothing else in the tank that will eat it, then likely it's the cories. Could be the filter, but I doubt it's that fast.
