    Hi

anyone used this product before? Is the equipment best placed higher or lower then the tanks water level if i don't use the clip on piece at the back? Anyone used it and experienced it's leakage of the mixture into the tank?

    Hi jason

So either higher or lower it seems not to work properly? With your checkvalve the mixture still went into the tank? So did you have to redo the whole tank again or?

the mixture went into my tank even with the check valve on.the check valve only stops water and maybe air from back flowing into the DIY CO2. but it does not stop the mixture from going into my tank. after the mixture went into the tank, i have to perform water changes everyday until the water clears of yeast. the following day after the mixture went into the tank, all my shrimps including my yamatos were wiped out. not even one was spared.

    Hello jason

So a safer bet would be to leave it lower then the water level so that yeast won't get into it and to get a check valve so that water doesn't get into the CO2 container? What do you think?
