    Hi,

Recently i bought a second hand Co2 Tank w/solenoid valve.

Today, when i try to fix it up on my new tank, i found out that the tank is leaking. When i turn on the main knob, co2 gushes out instantly. I did not plug the solenoid to power source as i couldn't suitable adapter. Is it gone case already? possible to repair?

    Thanks.

leaking from the screw directly below the main knob (red knob).

no need to use soap to test cos can even hear and feel CO2 gushing out. the zzzzzzzzzzzz sound is vey loud.

    Hi there,

Same problem happened to me as well.
You might want to bring the cylinder down to Bioplast along Boon Keng road (can do a search for the exact address in the LFS directory at the top of the forum page).

The boss at Bioplast may be able to solve the problem for you.

    Cheers

ok, bought it to C328 and was told the O ring wear off already. They will need to empty the tank first before replacing the ring.

as a last ditch effort, you may want to try checking with co2 gas suppliers. check commercial guide for a list of companies. off hand, sing swee bee is one.

I repair the CO2 Slider myself by replaced 2 pieces of old O-ring & added extra 3 pieces O-ring at the place where I think they probably should be.

    Hi hc_rotala,

The tank must be emptied first before the taps could be dismantled right?
Good idea to add the extra O-rings. Well-done!

i went to C328 to check. It takes 2 working days to change O ring and refill. So i bought it to bioplast which can be done on the spot.

Thanks HC rotala for the info! where to buy the O ring?

Yes, the CO2 tank must be empty first. Mine one is the spare tank awaiting sent to refill.

It got enough gaps in between to fill in extra rubber O-ring after frustrated and tried many times to improve it. Thanks for yours agreed.

    You are welcome.

I get those rubber O-rings from a small hardware store or car accessory/ spare part store.
