    Hi all,

can I ask how java fern should be planted?

Should they be tied to wood, or can they be planted into the substrate?

    Sorry, what is a lofs?

Try to tie on wood or stuff in between rocks or wood is fine. Once they start to grow, they will cling and spread. If your java fern is place near gravel, its roots will grow into the gravel in long term.

tied to drift wood, at the base of branches, or to rocks. Its usually used to seemingly blend the centre piece together.

    Hi torque6,
    thanks for your reply.
I don't really understand what you mean by "used to seemingly blend the centre piece together". Blend centerpiece with what?

its basically means, its melds the base of the dift wood with branches spreading out, like a centre piece.
