floor is xmas moss, wall is taiwan moss.

hi, i have a layer of xmas moss for my 3 ft. might wan to creat a wall of taiwan moss. will the 2 kind of moss get mix up as they grow and create a very messy look? any way of advise to do so?

Actually yes. As it goes and propagate the 2 species of moss would slowly separate from the main & resettle themselves...following to the flow of the water.
