    should i sell my current 2213 of around 4 years for a 4 years old 2026 ?

how much can my 2213 fetch in the market now ?

any problem with re-cycling or anything ?

2026 got more space for media than 2213?

2026 is definitely more powerful than 2213. It depends on what is your needs, like your tank size and bioload and stuff....
Second hand 2213 should be around $30-$40 in the market now, depending on the condition and items included.
Simply use back the media in your 2213 and you will cut down a lot on your cycling time.
Definitely more media space than 2213.

you can always add some floating plants to remove the excess nitrates in the water. It really is up to your own preference. I use a 1000l/hr filter for my 2ft tank.

I have a 2 X 2 ft set up. One uses the Eheim Pro II 2026 and the other uses the Eheim Classic 2213 canister filters. Both works fine for what they are suppose to do. So the decision to swap is really up to you.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

How do you decide that there is enough filtration.

I usually just continue to add.

    After 6 months, my 240L tank now have a 1x 2206, 1x 2217, 1x CF1200, 1 power head (1200L/H)

    Think I have overdone it....

As for my 2ft tanks, I usually have > 1000L/hr filtration on it.
