It happens to mine as well. I bought it at a farm in Lim Chu Kang and days after turned dark and melted. Yamato happily begin clearing it away and now left 1/4 on the wood log. It was pretty neat and green in the farm.

I'm using 55W FL, temp at 27 degrees with CO2.

Any advice how to keep this plant? Thanks and appreciate.

    - Spgan.

I'm keeping some coral pelia at the moment, not much light required and old water preferred. Growing like wild fire, at times I dun even on the light...maybe this will help oh low temperature also preferred 26-27..
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

hi michael, i think they are not refering to coral pelia.
coral pelia the leave shape and size is totally different from mini pelia, mini pelia leave size is about 2mm to 4mm the most ,whereas the coral pelia leave is very much bigger in size, shape, leave texture on both also totally different.

coral pelia and mini pelia dont really need high lights ,cold water very much prefer.the best result temperature is 24 deg to 26deg. if you have high lights be it pl 0r t5 it is still alright.i have both specimen in my 5footer .i am using 6 pcs of t5 80 watts mixture of 10k and 6500k.
