    Not sure about Garra rufa.But the panda garra (Garra Flavatra)is rather aggressive and will attempt to 'de-slime' other fish, I'd believe they display similar behavior.

    Some additional information on the treatment by 'Doctor fish'. They live in thermal springs with temperatures up to 37deg C.

    Is it available in Singapore? Might be interesting/fun to keep. Or are you thinking of going into business with a spa? I have thought your poll was merely for fun.

    No, I'm just curious if people would actually have fish nibble their skin...

    This fish is very expensive that puts off people, not sold in lfs because of its high price tag

    Think of it as having a haircut or cutting your nails. We lose lots of dead skin all the time anyway.

    As long as they don't bite meat/flesh!
