    Hello,
    I got some pics of my tank and I wanna share it with you...

    Setup - 02/02/2008
    Tank - 50x30x30cm
    Filter - AquaClear HOB 380L/h
    Heater - Tetra 75W
    Lighting - Boyu PL 24Wx2 (7200k)
    Substrate - peat, Tetra Complete, Red Sea Flora Base
    CO2 - DIY yeast system with glass difuser

    Plants
    Anubia nana
    Cryptocoryne undulata
    cryptocoryne x willisii
    cryptocoryne mollmanii
    cryptocoryne walkeri
    eleocharis acicularis
    echinodorus tennellus
    vesicularia dubyana

    Fish/ invertebrates
    Neocaridina denticulata sinensis
    *boraras brigittae
    *parotocinclus jumbo LDA25
    ottocinclus affinis

    wow..nice natural feel.
    once the hairgrass gets more dense, it will look great.
    should be able to stock up more fuana now.

    I notice you are using a 75W heater... is that your only mean of keeping a consistent water temperature? Or you do use fans?

    Hi,
    After 6 weeks that's how my tank looks like...


    In a near future the hairgrass and tennellus wiil be removed and crypts parva and pygmae will be planted.
    Crypt albida will be planted next week...

    you have good woods to work and you're certainly resourceful and brilliant with the use of the moss. They eases the starkness of the wood. The center one is not covered with moss though, intended focal point?

    Focal point, not really... the real intention was to provide scape to the shrimps, although there's no predators on this tank.

    Not many as I wish... next week will arrive crypt albida var. Red. Next month all non crypts will be removed, and will plant parva, pygmae.

    Right now I got:
    Cryptocoryne undulata
    cryptocoryne x willisii
    cryptocoryne moehlmannii
    cryptocoryne walkeri

    very soon:
    cryptocoryne albida var. Red
    cryptocoryne parva
    cryptocoryne pygmae

    Nearly 2 months of being set up... no algae issues so far, and last week I added a really beautiful plant... crypt albida.

    Here's the pic, after a good trim in a few crypts and moss...

    Looking good as always, I see you havent removed the HG yet, the right side of the tank seems heavy populated.
