eddyq: Hmmm seems like a couple have commented the tree is too small. Think I should start looking for a bigger piece. I thought japanese HG does not grow tall but fan out as they grow. That was why I went for them instead of the normal HG.

Cpark188: I was thinking of getting 2 zebra otos and maybe 10 rummy nose tetras. Lampeyes look interesting too. Have not really decided since getting fauna is probably another 1-2 months away.

checkerboard: Thanks for the comments! There were a couple of suggestions to narrow the path towards the back. I will probably try this during another major water change this Sunday. As for the planting, I did it in the wee hours of the morning so was probably too tired to plant them in smaller bunches. My back was already killing me.

fireblade: Come to think of it, kinda looks like one of my training grounds during my NS days too. Scary~

Jervis: For a new planted tank, I perfom a 75% water change after the second day of setup to drain out excess nutrients. After which, I will perform 30% water change twice as week.

I use Bacter Balls and Eheim Substrate Pro in my Filter. Bacter 100 is used to seed the substrate during setup.
