    Hi guys

Just started my riccia tank for abt 2 wks oready. They are bubbling fine but just that the bubbles on the plants are tiny and tends to float up.

Thought tht the flow from my filter is too strong and toned it down. However, the bubbles still float away!

Is it normal for new set-up? Hope and love to see bigger bubbles than 1 mm big!

If you are refering to pearling of riccia, these are oxygen bubbles(resulted from photosynthesis) which will eventually float to the water surface. You can't control the size of bubbles, thats mother nature's job.

    hmmmmz...
actually i find that if the KH is towards the higher side like 6 then the riccia bubbles tend to get bigger...
may not be theoretically correct but thats what i notice...
